Two Palestinians have been killed by Israeli fire in the occupied West Bank overnight and into January 29th, according to the Palestinian Health Ministry, Asharq Al-Awsat via The Associated Press reported.

In Tulkarem, a 23-year-old man was shot dead and in a strike in Jenin, a 25-year-old man was killed. In its reports, the ministry does not differentiate between combatants and civilians and there was no immediate comment coming from the Israeli military.

Since the Hamas-led attack of October 7th 2023, the West Bank has seen a big increase in violence. There has also been an increase in settler violence against Palestinians and attacks on Israelis from Palestinians, since the beginning of the war.
