Displaced Palestinians would not be able to return home, Trump says
US President Donald Trump has said that approximately two million Palestinians who would be relocated under the president’s plan to “own” Gaza, would not have the right to go back after the enclave is built, The National reported on February 10th.
During an interview with Fox News, Trump made these comments. Trump’s comments go against previous claims by his administration that the displacement would not be permanent.
Trump said: “We will build communities for the 1.9 million people, safe communities, could be five, six, could be two, but we’ll build safe communities a little bit away from where they are, where all of this danger is.”
