One of Libyan Prime Minister Dheibah’s closest advisors has survived an assassination attempt in Tripoli, Libya, and is in stable condition after being shot in the leg.

According to the Daily Sabah, the attempt on Libya’s cabinet affairs minister Adel Juma’s life was made on 12 February after shots were fired at his car by an unknown assailant in Tripoli.

The attempt comes as a UN committee leads efforts to resolve the issues between Libya’s two rival administrations and pave the way for holding unifying elections.
