Lebanon on February 14th marks two decades since the former prime minister Rafic Hariri’s death, amid the weakening of Hezbollah and its supporters which could prompt a comeback for the late PM’s son, Saad, The New Arab via AFP reported.

Rafic Hariri resigned as a premier when a suicide bombing targeted his convoy which was located in Beirut, causing him and 21 other people to die on February 14th 2005.

UN-backed court sentenced two Hezbollah members (in absentia) to life behind bars for the bombing attack that killed Hariri, although the group has said that it will not hand them over.
