Algeria reaffirms solidarity with Lebanon amid sovereignty violations

Algeria reaffirmed its solidarity with Lebanon on February 16th in Israeli violations of its territorial sovereignty, reported Middle East Monitor.

The Algerian ministry of foreign affairs stated that minister of state Ahmed Attaf received a phone call from Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam.

It stated that the two discussed developments in the south of Lebanon regarding the ceasefire agreement and the withdrawal of Israeli forces from the country and Attaf reiterated Algeria’s support for Lebanon.
