Dozens more arrested in Algeria over online posts

Dozens of people have been arrested in Algeria over online posts voicing their dissent against their country’s regime.
According to Middle East Eye on February 14th, repression has intensified in recent weeks, with the viral hashtag #Manich_Radhi or “I am not happy, satisfied”, that appeared in December, fueling the backlash from authorities.
A factory worker called Souhil Debbaghi, who has been imprisioned repeatedly for his activism, was once against thrown in jail in December after he posted a video saying he was not happy with the Algerian government and pointed to the many young Algerian’s attempting to leave via risky and illegal Mediterranean crossings.
