EU agrees new sanctions on Russia
The European Union has agreed to impose new sanctions on Russia amid US President Donald Trump’s push for a peace deal.
According to Euro News, the restrictions were agreed on February 19th and include a ban on imports of Russian aluminium.
The move is likely to be seen in the context of peace deal talks, the Europeans in a sense stockpiling cards for the negotiating table.
