French minister accuses Algeria of not respecting international law

French interior minister Bruno Retailleau told the television network TF1 on February 17th that Algeria is not respect international law by not accepting one of its nationals expelled from France, reported Le Figaro.
Retailleau said France is considering sanctions against Algeria’s state airline, Air Algérie.
French judicial sources say Algiers refused to admit one of its nationals aged 30 who was sentenced last May in France to six months in prison and was banned from entering France for offences including theft, receiving stolen goods and carrying a bladed weapon.
