Morocco is to take centre stage at the 61st Agriculture Show which opens in Paris on February 22nd, marking the first time a foreign country has been honoured as a guest of the renowned fair, reported RFI.
Some 600,000 visitors are attracted over nine days to the “Salon de l’Agriculture,” a major annual event in France, and for the first time in more than six decades, a foreign country will be welcomed by the fair as a guest of honour.
“I looked at the European level, and at all the fairs, the international aspect of exchanges is emphasised. We cannot remain closed off from the world,” show president Jérôme Desprey said on February 21st.
