UAE private sector Ramadan working hours announced
The private sector’s working hours have been announced for the holy month of Ramadan, by the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation, The National reported on February 24th.
Official working hours will be cut down by two hours per day for private sector workers. The ministry said: “In accordance with the requirements and nature of their work, companies may apply flexible or remote work patterns within the limits of the daily working hours during Ramadan.”
This comes after an announcement on February 23rd which confirmed the public sector’s working hours will be from 9am to 2.30pm during Monday to Thursday and from 9am to 12pm for Fridays.
