Algeria signs landmark global social justice agreement

Algeria has become a member of the Global Coalition for Social Justice, announced Faysal Bentaleb, Minister of Labour, Employment and Social Security, during an address marking the 69th anniversary of the General Union of Algerian Workers (UGTA).
According to AL24, Bentaleb stated that Algeria’s membership aligns with the country’s commitment to international cooperation aimed at “building fairer and more inclusive societies.” The initiative is part of broader efforts to enhance social justice across Africa and worldwide.
The minister emphasised that social justice is essential for maintaining economic stability and protecting individual rights.
