Counter-video released in response to Trump’s AI-generated Gaza Riviera

Palestinians have released a counter-video in response to an AI-generated video shared by US President Donald Trump which presents his plan for Gaza, The New Arab reported on February 28th.

The footage, which was shared on Trump’s social media account promoted his widely-criticised “Gaza Riviera” plan, which proposes that the Gaza strip is developed into a luxury tourist attraction that is under US control, which will force millions of Palestinians to relocate.

The original video presented a fictional depiction of Gaza, with figures that resembled the US president, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Elon Musk.

Palestinian digital media platform, Sahat, released a counter-video on X in response, depicting refurbished streets in the enclave, a vibrant seaport, busy markets, and a society that has been reshaped.
