UN says time is running out to organise election in South Sudan
During a three-day forum, international representatives have warned that time is running out to organise legitimate elections in Sudan.
According to AfricaNews, in 2024 the originally transitional government of National Unity, formed in 2020, delayed holding elections for a third time.
The head of the African Union Mission in South Sudan, Joram Biswaro said the time for “business as usual” had elapsed.
