Musk slams European leaders over ‘forever war’ in Ukraine

Elon Musk accuses European leaders of advocating a “forever war” in Ukraine rather than pursuing a peace deal. According to AL24, this comes after Musk reposted a video on X where Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen stated, “Peace in Ukraine is more dangerous than the ongoing war.”
Musk commented on X, questioning “how many parents with no sons?” – a pointed remark about the human cost of the conflict. His obvious preference for ending the Ukraine war mirrors Trump’s stance during recent Zelensky meetings. Musk didn’t hold back in his criticism of Zelensky, directly accusing the Ukrainian leader of dragging out the conflict rather than working toward peace.
As Head of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), Musk appears to represent the collective position of the Republican administration in pushing for a peace deal in Ukraine. This adds another voice to the growing divide between the USA’s apparent push for a peace agreement and the EU’s continued support for Ukraine’s military objectives.
