Kremlin says Russia and US in ‘initial stages’ of restoring ties
Russia and the US are in the “initial stages” of restoring ties according to the Kremlin, as Trump reorients US foreign policy away from the direction of the Biden administration.
“We are at the initial stage of the path to restoring our bilateral relations. The path ahead is quite long and difficult,” spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters in Moscow on March 10th according to Anadolu Ajansi
Peskov added that the presidents of both countries expressed “political will” to mend relations, but denied reports that top Russian and US officials are set to meet again in Saudi Arabia, describing them as “not true.”
