Morocco and France sign declaration to fight terrorism

Justice Ministers of Morocco and France have signed a joint declaration to fight terrorism and organised crime, following an action plan initiated in May 2024, according to Moroccan news outlet Yabiladi on March 10th.
The two countries reaffirmed their commitment to addressing these issues, including the modernization of the judicial system through the exchange of practices, expertise and training between the two.
The agreement marks the visit of Gérald Darmanin, which began on Sunday, March 9th, who praised Morocco’s attitude to the cooperation agreement which has led to significant arrests related to organised crime in recent months.
