Red Cross hands over fifth soldier held by Israel to Lebanon

According to the Lebanese army on social media platform X on March 13th, the Red Cross have handed over a soldier held by Israel to Lebanon.
Israel has reportedly described this handover as a ‘gesture to the Lebanese President’, according to the Middle East Eye.
This marks the fifth transfer of a detainee since March 11th.
The soldier was abducted by Israeli forces on March 9th at the Ras al-Naqoura crossing.
The soldier has since been transferred to hospital for treatment for injuries sustained, the Lebanese army said.
