Pro-junta militias linked to massacre in Burkina Faso

Human Rights Watch have again accused Burkina Faso’s ruling military junta of being complicit in a massacre of civilians in the country.
Militias allied with the ruling junta have been linked to a “gruesome” massacre in the west of the country that killed dozens, Human Rights Watch (HRW) said on March 14th according to Reuters.
Videos posted online show 58 people including women and children “who appear to be dead or dying,” alongside members of pro-junta militias. HRW previously accused Burkina Faso’s military of killing over 200 civilians last year.
