Rwanda has abruptly cut ties with Belgium in a move that is set to severely damage diplomatic relations between the two countries.

According to BBC News, Rwandan authorities have ordered all Belgium diplomats to leave the country within 48 hours.

The decision comes after Belgium criticized Rwanda for its alleged support of the m23 rebel group in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and its role in sustaining conflict in the region.
