Tunisia urged to release pro-migrant activists

The families of detained pro-migrant and anti-racism activists who have been imprisoned in Tunisia since May have launched an appeal for their release.
Romdhane Ben Amor, the head of NGO FTDES, said the 10 detainees’ organisations “were engaged in humanitarian work, not political advocacy”.
Ben Amor went on to add that the authorities, “criminalised their actions”.
