Rwanda-backed M23 rebels push further into eastern Congo
Rwanda-backed M23 rebels advanced further into eastern Congo, just a day after the presidents of Congo and Rwanda called for a ceasefire.
According to AfricaNews on March 20th, the rebels advanced into the outskirts of Walikale.
The surprise attack prompted clashes between the rebels and Congolese forces.
