Hamas leader killed in Israeli strikes as Gaza bombing continues

Israeli airstrikes have killed dozens in Gaza, including senior Hamas leader Salah al-Bardawil and his wife, both of whom were in a tent at the time of attack, according to The New Arab on March 23rd.

These strikes were concentrated around Khan Younis and Rafah.

Amid the ongoing Israeli airstrikes in Gaza, the Israeli Ministry announced that it had expanded its ground offensive, which began with the recapture of the Netzarim corridor last week, into northern Gaza’s Beit Hanoun.

The military confirmed the offensive started on March 22nd.

Additionally, the military issued a displacement order for the Tal al-Sultan area of Rafah.

Israeli spokesperson Avichay Adraee urged residents to move to Al-Marawi in southern Gaza.

Meanwhile, in Lebanon, Israel has resumed bombing the south following rocket fire into northern Israel on March 22nd.

Lebanon’s National News Agency reported that a drone strike targeted a car in Aita ash-Shaba on the border, as reported through The New Arab.

On March 23rd, Israel intercepted a ballistic missile launched from Yemen, following threats made by the Houthis against Israel over its ongoing military actions in Gaza.
