France and Algeria are set to resume diplomatic talks aimed at addressing ongoing political and economic differences between the two nations.

According to The New Arab, French Foreign Minster Jean-Noel Barrot arrived in Algeria for the talks on April 12.

The move follows months of political tension ,public disputes, and accusations between the two countries, which have historically shared a deeply troubled and complex relationship-as previously covered by Maghrebi.
