Morocco denies data breach claims by Algerian hackers
Morocco’s Ministry of Economic Inclusion, Small Business, Employment and Skills has denied claims by an Algerian hackers that it leaked personal data in data breach from a cyberattack, reports Moroccan government friendly HESPRESS on April 9th.
The ministry confirmed its website was targeted but insisted no sensitive information was compromised, as the site only hosts public content.
The incident comes amid rising digital and political tensions between Morocco and Algeria.
