Talks resume as Iran offers limits, demands guarantees

Iran has offered to limit its uranium enrichment under strict conditions, demanding guarantees that Donald Trump, or any future US president, will not scrap a renewed nuclear agreement, an Iranian official confirmed on April 18th.
According to The New Arab, talks with the US, which began in Oman and resume on April 19th in Rome, mark a cautious step forward despite Tehran’s refusal to halt enrichment entirely or discuss its missile program.
Iran is open to UN oversight and expects swift sanctions relief in return.
