Israeli PM Netanyahu walks underneath Al-Aqsa Mosque
Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu has caused provocation after publishing a video of himself walking through a tunnel underneath the Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem, according to The New Arab on May 28th.
The video was posted on what is known as “Jerusalem Day”, which celebrates Israel’s 1967 occupation of the West Bank.
The date is often marked by settlers entering the Al-Aqsa Mosque, racist slogans, and violence against Palestinians in the occupied West Bank.
