The US-backed group, the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF), has announced that for a second day it will not distribute food to Palestinians living in the war-torn enclave of Gaza, Middle East Eye via Reuters reported on June 5th.

The GHF said in a statement on its Facebook page on June 4th that its aid centres will not be in operation “as early as” the morning of June 5th. The GHF said that aid distribution will be in operation once repair and maintenance has been carried out on its aid sites.

The Israeli military did not provide any new orders on June 5th, which indicates that the areas near aid centres remain to be fighting zones.
