US President Donald Trump reintroduced a travel policy on June 4th, in which citizens from 12 nations, including Somalia and Sudan, would be barred from entering the US, signifying friction between the western power and the international community.

The prohibition will be effective from June 9th at 12:01 am, but the president indicated in January that a new prohibition has been planned when he took office, Africanews with AP reported.

The banned countries include Afghanistan, Chad, the Republic of Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Eritrea, Haiti, Libya, Somalia, Sudan and Yemen. But restrictions will be implemented on citizens from Burundi, Cuba, Laos, Sierra Leone, Togo, Turkmenistan and Venezuela.
