A total of 10 Palestinians in the Gaza Strip died on June 11th, as the war on the territory escalates, Middle East Eye via the Wafa news agency reported.

Tents which contained displaced people in the Tabaria refugee camp, located to the west of Khan Younis, were targeted by Israeli fighters jets, in which four people died, such as a minor.

A Jabalia house was also hit by a strike, in which three people died. In another attack, a drone launched an air strike in Nuseirat refugee camp, causing the deaths of three.

Israeli forces killed over 120 Palestinians across Gaza in just one day, Al Jazeera reported on June 11th. The dead include many desperate people seeking aid, as Israel continues to heavily strike the enclosed region. The total death toll from the war has now exceeded 55,000.

Gaza’s Health Ministry reported that Israel killed 57 aid-seekers and injured over 363 since the morning of June 11th. The aid locations are managed by the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF). This group is a US and Israeli-backed initiative which operates in heavily Israeli-monitored areas.

The remote aid sites established in Rafah and the Netzarim Corridor have been labelled “human slaughterhouses.” Since GHF began operating on May 27th, over 220 people have died trying to obtain scarce food packages for their families.

Israeli strikes killed over 60 Palestinians, including 39 aid seekers, in Gaza, Middle East Eye reported via Al Jazeera on June 11th. Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza City took in 27 bodies, while al-Awda in Nuseirat received seven. Al-Aqsa in Deir al-Balah got two bodies, and Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis received 25.

The Government Media Office of Gaza stated the Israeli military “is deliberately creating chaos in the Gaza Strip by perpetuating a policy of starvation and deliberately targeting and killing starving people seeking food.”

The United Nations also denounced the killings and refused to deliver aid through the GHF. The foundation employs private contractors backed by the Israeli military, a practice the UN deems a violation of humanitarian principles.
