Martin Jay: Iran attacks aim to jeopardise nuclear talks with US

RT contributor and editor-in-chief of Maghrebi.org, Martin Jay, has said Israel’s attacks on Iran were carried out with the intention of jeopardising Iran’s nuclear talks with the US, during an RT interview.

In the interview, Jay said: “This is Netanyahu at a last ditch position politically, to go full out on regional war with the sole objective of destroying the Iranian talks. The talks, which according to Donald Trump were going not too badly. That’s blown over the water now. That’s a bigger victory for the Israelis than anything else.”

Jay also said that while there has been ongoing speculation of US foreign policy being spearheaded by Israel, the attacks made this blatant.
