Israeli attacks in Gaza kill over 42 aid-seeking Palestinians

At least 42 Palestinians have been killed in Gaza, due to Israeli attacks, with at least 24 of them being killed as they were waiting for aid, Middle East Eye via Al Jazeera reported on June 12th.
According to sources from Gaza’s hospitals, the deaths occurred in the morning of June 12th, Al Jazeera reported. Meanwhile, the Israeli military said it arrested a number of Hamas soldiers in Beit Jinn, Syria.
On May 30th, Israeli soldiers launched a strike in Khan Younis on a Palestinian man, alleging he was a member of the militant group, Hamas. But it later came to surface that the man was in a fact a Palestinian civilian, named Mohammed al-Farra.
Only days ago, on June 11th, Israeli airstrikes claimed the lives of 10 Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, Middle East Eye via the Wafa news agency reported. Al Jazeera reported on June 11th that Israeli troops killed over 120 Palestinians in Gaza over the course of one day. Many of the dead were desperate civilians trying to get humanitarian aid. The conflict has now claimed more than 55,000 lives, Al Jazeera reported.
Israeli strikes are now starting to target countries previously left unscathed. On June 13th, Israel carried out a “pre-emptive” assault with multiple nuclear and military attacks across Iran, The National via Iranian state media reported. This marked a major escalation, pushing both regional powers to the brink of full-scale war.
Iranian state media reported that airstrikes killed Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) leader Major General Hossein Salami. Fars news confirmed airstrikes also killed Iran’s armed forces chief, Major General Mohammad Bagheri.
Tasnim news agency stated Israeli airstrikes killed six Iranian nuclear experts. It added that at least 50 Iranians suffered injuries.
