Israeli forces killed over 45 people in multiple Gaza Strip strikes since the morning of June 15th, Middle East Eye reported.

At least 23 Palestinians lost their lives near relief areas and trucks, including near Central Gaza’s Netzarim Corridor and Rafah. Gaza’s civil defence agency confirmed the deaths.

Mohammad al-Mughayyir, an agency official told AFP that central Gaza’s al-Awda Hospital got eight dead bodies. He added that the hospital also treated 125 wounded people. According to him, the Israeli drone attacks specifically targeted individuals near the corridor’s aid centre.

Late last month, Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu revealed a proposal to permit restricted humanitarian aid into Gaza in which the US-managed Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF) would handle aid distribution.

United Nations analysts said the proposal supports Israel’s aim of Palestinians being forcibly uprooted. They also stated it seeks to reduce, or eliminate, the UN’s involvement in Gaza.

On June 11th, Middle East Eye reported that Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza City took in 27 corpses. Seven bodies had reportedly reached al-Awda in Nuseirat. Two bodies reached al-Aqsa in Deir al-Balah, and 25 arrived at Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis.

Gaza’s Government Media Office said Israeli troops spread disorder by employing strategies that lead to hunger and targeting people seeking food. The office also mentioned strikes by helicopters and tanks on males and children gathering aid.

Al Jazeera reported on June 11th, as cited by Maghrebi, that Israeli forces killed over 120 Palestinians in Gaza, within 24 hours. Middle East Eye via Al Jazeera reported on June 12th that Israeli attacks killed more than 42 Palestinians in Gaza.

James Elder, the UNICEF spokesperson, told Anadolu Agency the Gaza situation is “bleak, horrific, and hopeless.” He said: “The people of Gaza are living through harsh nights under bombardment, and they spend their days fleeing hunger and explosions.” Elder continued: “Everything we knew about people’s resilience has been completely shattered.”
