Over 51 killed as Israel opens fire near aid hub in south Gaza

Over 51 Palestinians have died after Israel’s forces fired on people near a south Gaza aid site, according to witnesses and rescuers, the BBC reported on June 17th.
According to the Hamas-administered agency of civil defence, Israeli soldiers opened fire on people who were near the Khan Younis site. Reportedly, over 200 suffered injuries. Israel’s military has confirmed it is reviewing the reports.
The incident marks the most recent, and possibly the most lethal of the near daily attacks which have happened near Gaza’s aid hubs. An eyewitness and journalist said two missiles were launched by Israeli drones and a shell was also a launched from a tank.
