Senior Libyan official warns of economic crisis

The head of the Libyan Presidential Council Mohammed Menfi has sent a letter to the Speaker of the House of Representatives, warning the country is heading towards a severe economic crisis according to anti-Eastern Libya biased outlet Libya Observer on June 16th.

Menfi warned that the economic situation risks threatening the security and financial sovereignty of Libya.

The economic crisis would be due to a vacuum resulting from the absence of an approved unified budget.
