Over half of Britons are against Israeli operations in Gaza

A poll has found that 55% of people in the UK are against Israel’s military operations in Gaza, with 82% of those against it calling the military activity genocide, Middle East Eye reported on June 18th.

The poll from YouGov, found that 45% of British adults believe Israel’s military campaign is a genocide. Among those who voted for the UK Labour Party in last year’s General Election, 68% were against Israel’s actions on Gaza. A total of 87% of the 68% felt that Israel’s response to Gaza is genocidal.

A total of 78% of those who voted for Labour were in favour of the International Criminal Court’s actions towards Israel. But 5% were against it.
