Israel’s forces have killed 23 Palestinians after firing on people who were near an aid hub, according to medics and witnesses, the BBC reported on June 20th.

Drones and tanks targeted thousands near a central Gaza aid distribution hub operated by the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF), which is backed by Israel and the US. A spokesperson of Nuseirat’s Al-Awda hospital said that 23 bodies and over 100 people who had suffered wounds were brought over. Hospital photographs showed that bodies were on the floor.

According to the Hamas-administered health ministry, since late last month over 400 Palestinians have died in similar tragedies.
