UN: US-Israeli aid centres in Gaza defy international standards

At least 410 Palestinian people have died due to attacks from Israel’s military while attempting to get aid from the US-Israeli aid centres in Gaza which is likely to be a war crime, The United Nations human rights office (OHCHR) said on June 24th.
According to Middle East Eye via Reuters, OHCHR spokesperson, Thameen al-Keetan, said: “Israel’s militarised humanitarian assistance mechanism is in contradiction with international standards on aid distribution.”
The spokesperson of OHCHR, also said that weaponizing food for civilians as well as limiting or stopping “their access” to life-saving services amounts to a war crime.
