Greece aims to stem flow of migrants from Libya

Greece is to deploy frigates in the Mediterranean in order to try and stem the flow of migrants from Libya according to Reuters on June 23rd.

Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis told reporters that the move would be made in coordination with both Libyan and European authorities engaged in the area.

The number of migrants attempting to reach Greece from Libya has risen in recent months.
