Israel ramps up Gaza strikes despite scheduled ceasefire talks

North Gaza’s Palestinian population reported one of the most severe incidents of Israeli attacks, while Israel’s officials were scheduled to be in the US for renewed efforts to secure a ceasefire, France 24 via Reuters reported on June 30th.
Following US president Donald Trump’s call for a the 20-month conflict to stop, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s confidant was scheduled to be in the White House for Gaza ceasefire negotiations and other potential agreements relating to the region.
But in Gaza, Israeli attacks are still going ahead. Salah, who is a father from Gaza City said: “Explosions never stopped; they bombed schools and homes. It felt like earthquakes.”
