Two men abducted in south Syria by Israeli forces

Two young men were abducted by Israeli forces in Sa’soun village, located in Syria’s western Daraa province, The New Arab via Al-Araby Al-Jadeed reported on June 30th.

According to local sources, Israeli forces fired at the men while they were on a motorcycle and later detained them.

Al-Araby Al-Jadeed reported that there had been major Israeli military operations in the area, as Israel’s military had established advance posts and fortifications, in which locals were unable to approach them. Israeli forces had reportedly detained people on the basis of alleged “terrorist activity.”
