Israel smuggles spy equipment into Gaza Strip, Hamas warns

A security official of Hamas has said the group has stopped attempts from Israel to smuggle spy equipment as well as new phones to collaborators in Gaza, Middle East Eye via Al Jazeera Arabic reported on July 3rd.

The official added that agents had been smuggling big amounts of drugs From Israel’s intelligence officers assigned to the aid units which are overseeing the aid sites.

According to the official, the drugs were being smuggled to “ensnare young people”, degrade them and to get them involved in security and spying operations.
