Sudan refugees in Libya to run out of food by autumn, says UN

The United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) has issued an urgent warning that in two months time they will run out of humanitarian food aid for Sudanese refugees who have fled to the neighbouring nations of Libya, Egypt, Ethiopia and the Central African Republic according to the Libya Observer on July 2nd.
Sudan was thrown into a violent civil war in 2023, with between 20,000 and 25,000 refugees fleeing to Libya through Egypt since it began, putting a strain on migration and aid.
The WFP has also been providing emergency aid to Chad, South Sudan, and Uganda, who are also neighbouring Sudan.
