Al-Aqsa mosque continues to be stormed by Israeli settlers

Al-Aqsa mosque in occupied Jerusalem has again been stormed by Israeli settlers who were protected by occupation forces, Middle East Eye via Al Jazeera reported on July 8th.
Observers said the settlers carried out religious rituals, tormenting one of the holiest sites of Islam. In the occupied East Jerusalem, tensions are rising, as such incidents are often supported by Israel’s police.
Previously, Israel’s forces made worshippers in the mosque evacuate on June 13th, according to Maghrebi. Middle East Eye via Wafa news agency reported that the incident marked the first time since the Covid-19 pandemic, that Israeli forces closed the mosque.
