The journalist, Dr Nasser al-Lahham, has more than three decades of experience in reporting from Palestine. Al-Lahham is Ma’an News Agency’s editor-in-chief and the Al-Mayadeen TV’s office in Palestine’s director.

The raid which took place in al-Duha village, west of Bethlehem, was defined by Al-Mayadeen as “brutal and repressive.” Ma’an stated that the soldiers ransacked the 58-year-old journalist’s home and later detained him.
