Fresh evacuation orders introduced in north Gaza by Israel

Israel’s army has introduced new evacuation orders, in which people in 16 north Gaza neighbourhoods are to immediately leave their homes, Middle East Eye reported on July 15th.

An unnamed military spokesperson said the orders were an “urgent warning to everyone still present in Gaza City and Jabalia.” The spokesperson added that these civilians need to move southwards towards al-Mawasi.

Meanwhile, the spokesperson for the United Nations Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights, Thameen Al-Kheetan, warned on July 15th that Israeli settlers have ramped up attacks on Palestinians in the occupied West Bank, according to Middle East Eye.
