Israel launches heavy blows on Syrian army HQ, wounding 18

Israel attacked the army headquarters of Syria in Damascus on July 16th, causing 18 people to suffer wounds and one person to die, France 24 via AFP reported.

The bombing took place after Israel warned the Syrian government to leave the Druze minority alone in Syria’s Sweida area, where sectarian violence has resulted in almost 250 deaths.

According to the Israeli army, it also attacked a “military target” in Damascus, within the area of Syria’s presidential palace on July 16th, with witnesses telling AFP that they could hear an explosion in the area.
