UNRWA calls for Gaza access, as food is stockpiled for months

The UN agency for Palestinian refugees (UNRWA) on July 19th urged for Gaza access restrictions to be removed, and said that it has food which has been accumulated to feed Gaza’s entire population for over three months, according to Anadolu Agency.

On X, the UN agency said: “UNRWA has enough food for the entire population of Gaza for over three months stockpiled in warehouses–including this one in Al Arish, Egypt–awaiting entry.”

UNRWA also said their access to Gaza has been obstructed. As of yet, almost 59,000 Palestinians have been killed by Israel – a country which enforced a total humanitarian blockade on Gaza on March 2nd.
