Syrians rally in UK calling for protection of Druze community

Syrians from minority communities demonstrated in central London on July 19th, urging for the Druze people to be protected in the Syrian city of Suweida, where hundreds died due to sectarian clashes, according to The New Arab plus agencies.
Roughly 80 demonstrators chanted “God protect Druze” and “Stop supporting Jolani,” in reference to Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa’s former nom de guerre.
The protestors carried placards which called for an end to the lethal clashes in Suweida and for a humanitarian corridor to be introduced through the border with Jordan.
