A Saudi aid agency has provided much-needed food aid to communities in Afghanistan and Lebanon, affected by crisis, Arab News reported on July 20th.

The agency, KSrelief, gave out 500 baskets carrying food to families who were previously displaced in Al-Jazirah state, Sudan. In Afghanistan, 100 baskets of food were distributed at the Omari camp – which is near the Torkham border crossing – to Afghans returning from neighbouring Pakistan.

In Lebanon, 569 baskets of food were given to Syrian refugees as well as host families in north Lebanon’s Koura district, in which 2,845 people received the aid.
