Gaza hospital director abducted by Israel’s special forces

Israel’s special forces have abducted a Rafah hospital director in south Gaza, who is also the spokesperson for the enclave’s Palestinian health ministry, Middle East Eye via Reuters reported on July 21st.
Dr Marwan al-Hams, who is the director of Abu Youssef al-Najjar Hospital was visiting the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) facility when covert Israeli soldiers opened fire. The incident resulted in the death of one and causing another civilian to get wounded, before al-Hams was captured.
The person killed was a journalist who had been interviewing the hospital director during the attack.
